Mhamid El Ghizlane is located in southern Morocco, in the Draa Valley, approximately 460 km (286 miles) from Marrakech and about 90 km from Zagora. It sits at the edge of the Erg Chigaga dunes, a vast stretch that rises up to 40 meters high and is among the most remote and least visited in Morocco.
