Day 1: Marrakech – Ounila Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Your desert adventure departs from Marrakech and heads over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering sweeping views of the High Atlas Mountains. Travel through the charming Ounila Valley to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village famous for its role in many films. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa," for your overnight stay.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis – Valley of Roses – Boutaghrar – Dades Gorges
After breakfast, drive to the lush Skoura Oasis, dotted with ancient kasbahs. Journey through the scenic Valley of Roses, especially fragrant in spring. Explore Boutaghrar, a traditional Berber village, then continue to the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Gorges. Enjoy a short walk before settling into a charming guesthouse for the night.
Day 3: Dades Gorges – N'Kob – Draa Valley – Zagora – Tamgrout – Mhamid
Travel south from the gorges toward the desert. Pass through N’Kob, a village with dozens of ancient kasbahs, and enjoy a scenic walk in the palm-lined Draa Valley. Continue through Zagora and visit Tamgrout, known for its Islamic library and traditional pottery. Arrive in Mhamid, the edge of the Sahara, for your overnight stay.
Day 4: Mhamid – Erg Chegaga Camel Ride – Desert Camp
Start the day with an off-road drive into the heart of the desert. Reach the vast dunes of Erg Chegaga, one of Morocco’s most beautiful dune systems. Take a camel ride and witness the magical desert sunset. Spend the night at a desert camp, complete with local music, a traditional meal, and stargazing.
Day 5: Erg Chegaga – Iriki Lake – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech
Cross the dry lakebed of Iriki and traverse the rocky Sahara terrain to reach Foum Zguid. Pass through Taznakht, a town renowned for Berber carpets, before heading back to Marrakech, where your unforgettable desert tour departs from Marrakech concludes.

- Clothing: Light attire for the day and warmer garments for the evening, including rain protection. In March, temperatures range from 10°C at night to 26°C during the day.

- First aid: Include adhesive plasters, dressings, sterile compresses, disinfectant, paracetamol or aspirin tablets/sachets, antidiarrheal medication, eye drops, and blister dressings.
