Tour From Agadir To Merzouga 4 days - Itinerary:
Day 1: From Agadir To Ouarzazate
Our Team will pick you up from your hotel in Agadir and drive you to the south of Morocco. Today, You will visit Taroudant, known as "the little Marrakech", with its surrounding ramparts. In addition, the Saadi dynasty briefly used Taroudant as a capital in the sixteenth century before moving its royal seat to Marrakesh.
We continue to Taliouine, the land of Saffron, and then to Taznakht, after which to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco. It's the backdrop of many Hollywood blockbusters as well. After visiting the Kasbah, you will visit Atlas Cinema Studio, the world's largest film studio. Many famous films have been shot, such as The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator and Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra... Dinner and night in the hotel / Guesthouse in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: From Ouarzazate To Merzouga
After a good breakfast, we take the road to Todra Gorge, passing by Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses in Kelaat M'gouna. It's most known for the "Roses Festival." We will make a short stop to discover its beauty and rose products, ranging from perfume, rose water, and oil to cosmetic products. From here, we drive to visit the Todra Gorge, continue to Katar'at (the ancient irrigation system) in the afternoon, and then to Erfoud Oasis.
Arrive in Merzouga for a one-hour-and-a-half camel ride. Enjoy a relaxing moment on the top of the dunes, enjoying the spectacular sunset and the tranquillity of the desert—night in a charming desert camp under the stars and a Musical evening around the fire.
Day 3: From Merzouga To Agdez
Today, if you wake early enough to be a part of a unique moment to watch the sunrise, you will be rewarded by the outstanding play of shadows across the sand. After breakfast, we travel back by camel to Merzouga village. The road takes us to Rissani, where the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, the third great-grandfather of Moulay Cherif, founder of the Alaouite Dynasty of Morocco, is located. Then to Alnif, Nkob and Tanasikht, where we take the ancient caravan road, passing by many old fortified villages and small farms along the river until we reach Agdez Oasis in Draa River, the longest river in Morocco (1100km). Night and dinner in the guesthouse in Agdez.
Day 4: From Agdez to Agadir
After a good breakfast, Our adventure takes us north from Agdez to Taznakht Berber village, famous for its Berber rugs and carpets. From Taznakht, we drive via Tizi-n-Ikhsane and Tizi-n-Tighatine passes. In Taliouine, we stop to have lunch. It's the land of Saffron, and it's one of the leading exporters of this spice worldwide. - Footwear: Choose shoes or sandals. Walking shoes are unnecessary in the desert; lighter footwear is preferable. If selecting sandals, pack socks as nighttime temperatures drop.
- Clothing: Light attire for the day and warmer garments for the evening, including rain protection. In March, temperatures range from 10°C at night to 26°C during the day.
- Sun protection: Suncream and sunglasses.
- First aid: Include adhesive plasters, dressings, sterile compresses, disinfectant, paracetamol or aspirin tablets/sachets, antidiarrheal medication, eye drops, and blister dressings.
