Marrakech to Erg Chegaga Desert 4-days - Itinerary:
Day 1: From Marrakech to Erg Chegaga
After you meet our guides in Marrakech, depart in the morning at 8:00 for discovering the Moroccan desert, Crossing the height Atlas Mountains, where there will be the opportunities to take lovely panoramic photos of the Berber villages. Arrive at Taznakht for lunch; it's a famous town for producing the Berber Carpets. We continue via Foum Zguid, where we take off-road, crossing the stony desert and Lake Iriqui before reaching the Chegaga dunes. A fantastic night in a desert camp located in the middle of the dunes. You will enjoy the sunset from the top of the dunes and an unforgettable starry night and musical evening around the campfire.
Day 2: From Chegaga dunes to Mhamid
After breakfast, You will ride the camel for 2 hours from the camp to discover more about the Chegaga dunes. After the camel experience, we drive to Mhamid, stopping in the sacred oasis of Foum la'aalag and visiting the nomads. Our adventure continues to Mhamid, where you will have lunch in the desert camp. In the afternoon, you will explore the old Ksar of Mhamid and get closer to the locals. You will have Dinner at one of the local's houses, and night will be in a charming desert camp under the stars or Berber tent.
Day 3: From Mhamid To Fint Oasis
This morning you can wake up to watch the stunning sunrise. Then you will have a good breakfast in the desert camp after preparing yourself for another incredible journey, driving to Tamgroute, where you will visit the Old Library and the Koranic school with a local guide. From here, we dive to Zagora and Oulad Othman, where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we continue to explore the ancient caravans road passing by old villages and kasbahs. Tamnougalt is one of the famous Kasbahs, where you will visit this ancient kasbah before we pass by Agdez and cross the Anti Atlas Mountain. Arrive at Ouarzazate and Fint oasis before the sunset. Dinner and night at the guest house in the most beautiful oasis in the south of Morocco.
Day 4: From Fint Oasis to Marrakech
Today, your guide will take you for a lovely walk after a good breakfast in the oasis. The palms, silence, water and birds are the best experience to start another fantastic journey. You will visit Ait ben Haddou Kasbah where many films have been shot such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia... It's a UNESCO World Heritage site. After our trip, continues to Marrakech driving by Ounila valley and stopping for another visit to Telouet Kasbah or the Glaoui Palace. From here, we cross the high Atlas mountain, Tizi-n-tichka 2260m. Arrive at Marrakech at the end of the day, and we hope you enjoyed the tour from Marrakech to the desert.

- Footwear: Choose shoes or sandals. Walking shoes are unnecessary in the desert; lighter footwear is preferable. If selecting sandals, pack socks as nighttime temperatures drop.
- Clothing: Light attire for the day and warmer garments for the evening, including rain protection. In March, temperatures range from 10°C at night to 26°C during the day.
- Sun protection: Suncream and sunglasses.
- First aid: Include adhesive plasters, dressings, sterile compresses, disinfectant, paracetamol or aspirin tablets/sachets, antidiarrheal medication, eye drops, and blister dressings.
- Water bottle.
- Hermetic bags: Freezer-type bags to protect your camera or phone.
