Day 1: Agadir – Tiznit – Tafraout
The tour departs from Agadir in the morning and heads south towards the walled city of Tiznit, known for its silver craftsmanship and traditional souks. After a short visit, the journey continues through the spectacular Anti-Atlas Mountains toward Tafraout, a peaceful Berber town nestled among pink granite rocks and palm groves. Along the way, travelers will enjoy scenic views, mountain villages, and time to explore the famed Painted Rocks near Tafraout. The night is spent in a charming local guesthouse or riad.
Day 2: Tafraout - Irhem - Tata - Foum Zguid
After breakfast, the route leads through remote mountain landscapes toward Igherm, where you’ll glimpse authentic rural Moroccan life. The journey continues south through dramatic desert plains to reach Tata, an oasis town with mud-brick kasbahs and palm-lined valleys. The day's route ends in Foum Zguid, a desert frontier town and the starting point for the next day’s off-road adventure. Overnight in a comfortable kasbah or desert lodge.
Day 3: Foum Zguid - Iriki Lake - Erg chegaga Desert
The real Sahara adventure begins as the tour leaves Foum Zguid and crosses the dry bed of Lake Iriki, once a large lake and now part of a vast desert plain. Traveling off-road through desert terrain, travelers eventually reach the towering dunes of Erg Chegaga, one of Morocco’s most impressive dune fields. After a relaxing afternoon in the dunes and a stunning sunset, dinner is served at a desert camp. Guests spend the night in traditional Berber tents under a star-filled sky.
Day 4: Journey by camel in Erg chegaga desert
A full day in the Sahara allows for immersive experiences. After breakfast, embark on a camel trek through the golden dunes. Take time to enjoy sandboarding, or simply relax in the silence of the desert. As evening falls, gather around the campfire for music, storytelling, and another unforgettable night in the Chegaga dunes.
Day 5: Erg Chegaga - Mhamid - Tamgrout - Zagora - ouarzazate
After sunrise and breakfast in the desert, the tour continues toward M’Hamid, the last village before the vast emptiness of the Sahara. The route then stops at Tamgrout, home to a renowned green pottery cooperative and one of Morocco’s oldest Quranic libraries. From there, the journey leads to Zagora, and continues through the lush Draa Valley to Agdz, where palm groves and ancient kasbahs mark the landscape. The day ends in Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Overnight in a local riad or hotel.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Taznakht – Taliouine – Agadir
After breakfast, visit Kasbah Taourirt or the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate, both renowned filming locations for international movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy. From there, continue to the nearby Ait Ben Haddou, a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its ancient kasbah architecture and cinematic history. After exploring the ksar, the journey continues through Taznakht, known for its beautifully handcrafted Berber carpets, and then on to Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital nestled in the foothills of the High Atlas. The tour concludes with a scenic drive back to Agadir, marking the end of a rich and unforgettable journey through the heart of southern Morocco.

- Clothing: Light attire for the day and warmer garments for the evening, including rain protection. In March, temperatures range from 10°C at night to 26°C during the day.
